Perhaps unsurprisingly uSwitch have proposed that more people swap engery providers in the New Year to save money and aid their debt problems.
The price comparison group, that make money on every consumer who uses their website to switch financial products, do have a point though as energy prices prepare to soar.
A spokesperson for uSwitch commented, "Households could save up to £325 on their gas and electricity bills just by shopping around for a better deal."
