MP David Laws has spoken out over the importance of finding debt help solutions as he himself launched a new Debt Centre in Chard, South Somerset.
Mr. Laws spoke passionately about the benefits of the new Debt Centre and called for similar projects to be launched up and down the UK in order reduce personal debt.
Laws commented, "The timing (of the Debt Centre opening) is, unfortunately, very appropriate because of the financial problems faced by the whole of UK at the moment."
He added, "We've been through a period where credit is very easy to get and I'm often amazed at the amount of debt people take on."
