UK consumers are being asked to cope with huge increases in their fuel bills, with many slipping further towards serious debt as a direct result.
With British Gas signalling higher prices that could see gas bills alone rising by £400 a year, it seems that every supplier is planning hikes in their rates.
The government have already warned that fuel poverty could be a major concern in 2008 and more people are now beginning to feel the pinch.
Many suppliers are said to be making over-estimations in the fuel that households use so contacting them is crucial to earn possible reductions.
The advice is to phone your supplier and ask them what they're charging you and if they could re-calculate to see if they can save you money.
