The number of people in the UK applying to companies for debt consolidation loans and finance is increasing rapidly - according to one leading financial website.
MoneyExpert have released figures showing that one in seven Britons are consolidating debts to ease financial burdens.
The group added that the average consolidated loan amounts to £13,000, but some five per cent of consumers have borrowed over £50,000 in the last three years and may have trouble repaying the balance.
